A lightweight, portable device used to measure the amount and rate of air forcefully exhaled from the lungs. Primarily used by asthma patients to monitor their condition and assist doctors in treatment decisions.
PF120A is for adults — measurement range 60–800 L/min. PF120C is for children — measurement range 50–400 L/min.

Position the red indicator at zero before measuring. Stand up, take a deep breath, seal lips tightly on the meter, hold it horizontally. Exhale quickly and as forcefully as possible — avoid coughing or spitting. Take at least 3 readings and record only the highest.
Immerse in warm water with mild detergent for at least 2–3 minutes at least once per week. Ensure it is completely dry before using again.
At least 1 year and up to 3 years depending on usage. Replace with a new unit after 3 years.
